New Jewish cemetery in Bełżyce - a Jewish cemetery founded in 1825 at today's Przemysłowa street, the last burial took place in 1943. Until the outbreak of World War II, it occupied an area of 0.8 ha. There are few traces of matzevot left, which were destroyed during the occupation and after its end. At the end of the 1980s, thanks to the efforts of Szulim Cygielman, the cemetery was organized and fenced. [source: Wikipedia, 1720637]
