Orthodox Cemetery in Andrzejów - Orthodox necropolis in Andrzejów, belonging to the parish of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God in Włodawa Orthodox Calendar 2015, Edition of the Warsaw Metropolitan Metropolis,, p .06 . The cemetery was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. It occupies an area of 0.87 ha. It is located on the outskirts of the village, approx. 400 m north of the road to Urszulin [http://www.cmentarzepogranicza.ekolublin.pl/index.php?option=com_josresource&Itemid=30&func=detail&id=65 Cemeteries of Pogranicza - Cemeteries in the Lublin region: Andrzejów] . The main part of the necropolis is located on an early medieval stronghold, surrounded by a deep moat. In this part, a dozen or so tombstones have survived (the oldest of 1930) - stone, iron, masonry and cast iron, as well as wooden crosses (mostly harmed). Fragments of tombstones are also found in the moat. In the part outside the stronghold, two earth graves with wooden crosses have been preserved . Within the cemetery there is a wooden, devastated chapel of the Transfiguration of the Lord . The area of the necropolis is not fenced . [source: Wikipedia, 3547331]
