The old Jewish cemetery in Biała Podlaska - was located at Brzeska Street. Closed at the beginning of the 19th century (after the creation of a new one at Nowej Street), it had an irregular form, legible in today's landscape of the city, as an elevation between the Merkury cinema building and the Poviat Office building. He lost the tombstones until the First World War. It has numerous cartographic and iconographic messages - the oldest of 1772 in the form of so-called Targoński map. In the former cemetery there is a monument dedicated to Poles who died and were lost in Siberia. [source: Wikipedia, 2239887]
