The fate of the cemetery
In the interwar period, the cemetery was still in good condition as new. After World War II, the importance of the cemetery in the awareness of the society and the then authorities decreased, because new, more recent cemeteries and dramatic stories of the new war came. Cemeteries were naturally destroyed by weather and vegetation factors, the latter particularly because wooden elements are inherently durable. Cemetery No. 164 completely overgrown with trees and shrubs . It has been renovated. The area was cleaned and cleared of the scrub and modeled on the preserved documentation, new oak crosses and tin plates were made. In 2015, however, there are still no fences and sculptures on the main cross and under the cross. The cemetery is under the care of the city authorities and Towarzystwo MiĹoĹnikĂłw Tuchowa . At the entrance gate there is an information board with the cemetery plan. [source: Wikipedia, 2439997]
