Position
The cemetery is located on the edge of the forest, on the ridge of Słonej Mountain. It is located directly on the local road from Piotrkowice to Pleśna, between the cemetery 175 and the cemetery No. 177. This route is marked by a yellow tourist trail. Thanks to open and extensive areas of fields from the vicinity of the cemetery to the south side, there is a wide panorama view . [source: Wikipedia, 2414130]
Description of the cemetery
Designed by Heinrich Scholz. Entrance to the cemetery through a metal gate on the side opposite the road. The cemetery has a trapezoidal shape with an area of about 114 m with two beveled horns. It is surrounded on four sides by a fence made of square steel bars. In the middle of the fence, from the side opposite the road, there is a metal gate. The graves are marked with gravestones in the form of simple metal crosses on concrete platforms. In the central part there is a metal cross placed on a concrete plinth, which is identical to the tombstones only in a larger scale. More than 100-year-old oaks planted during the cemetery are growing in the cemetery. [source: Wikipedia, 2414130]

The fate of the cemetery
The Austrians made the cemetery very carefully, but over time it was subject to natural destruction. Its general renovation has been carried out. the crosses were straightened and renewed, the metal fence was repaired and moved so that it would not grow into oaks. The concrete plinths of crosses have also been renovated. Earth tombstones were ground, making it easier to mow the grass. An information board was installed next to the entrance to the cemetery.
