War Cemetery No. 201 - TarnĂłw - closed, Austrian war cemetery from the period of World War I, built by the Department of War Graves of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow and located in its district VI TarnĂłw. It is a small quarter created in 1914, located in the south-western part of the Jewish cemetery in TarnĂłw at ul. Hospital. 45 Austro-Hungarian soldiers and 9 Russian soldiers, Jews, killed in fighting in the vicinity of TarnĂłw and those who died as a result of wounds and due to diseases in TarnĂłw hospitals were buried there. The soldiers here are all known by their surnames. Some of the fallen Austro-Hungarian soldiers belonged to the 20th Infantry Regiment. There is known the regimental affiliation of only one Russian soldier, he served in the 131th Tiraspol infantry regiment. Currently, the quarters are not very legible, because civil burials are located around it and in its area. The cemetery designer is unknown.
