War Cemetery No. 251 - Ujście Jezuickie. One of over 400 Western-Galician war cemeteries built by the Cemetery Graves Division of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow. It is located in Ujście Jezuicki and was designed by Johann Watzal and Emil Ladewig. It is fenced on three sides with a concrete wall, from the side of the road a metal fence. Austro-Hungarian soldiers are resting on it (31nd battalion of field shooters, 14th Infantry Regiment of the Landwehr, 16th Infantry Regiment of the Landwehr, 25th Infantry Regiment of the Landwehr) and Russian (77 old-world infantry regiment) killed during the First World War. In 2017, a plaque dedicated to the memory of the fallen Croatian soldiers was unveiled on the initiative of the City of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia. [source: Wikipedia, 1508202]
