__NOTOC__ War Cemetery No. 333 - Cichawa - a historic Austrian war cemetery from the period of World War I, built by the War Cemetery Department of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow and located in its district IX Bochnia. It is located in the north-western part of the town of Cichawa in the Lesser Poland voivodeship, in the Wieliczka poviat, in the commune of GdĂłw. It is a small necropolis with an area of 2 ares, on a square plan with a side of 14 meters. It lies in the middle of cultivated fields. A high lime tree grows in the corner of the cemetery. The central monument is a cross standing on a pedestal, by a fence from the north-east side. Below it is a contemporary table with the following text: 8 Austrian-Hungarian soldiers from the 55th infantry regiment and 13 and 14 battalions of field shooters were buried there. 44 Russian soldiers are also buried here. They fell on 6, 10 and 13 December 1914. The cemetery was designed by Franz Stark.
