War Cemetery No. 334 - Chełm - an Austrian war cemetery from the period of World War I, built by the War Cemetery Department of the C. and K. Military Command Office in Kraków in its IX Bochnia district. It is located in the eastern part of the town of Chełm in the Bochnia commune of the Małopolska province. This necropolis is a small, rectangular quarters at the parish cemetery in Chełm. Designed by Franz Stark, it hides the ashes of 21 unknown Austro-Hungarian and Russian soldiers. It has been preserved almost unchanged. The central monument is a high concrete cross. On it there is a metal cross with swords. On its sides, on the pillars there are crosses: two-armed and Latin. In front of the monument, a row of small metal crosses was placed on the graves: three patriarchal and three Latin ones. The whole is fenced. [source: Wikipedia, 3043436]
