War Cemetery No. 385 - PodgĂłrze - an Austrian war cemetery from the First World War period, built by the War Cemetery Department of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow and the XI Twierdza KrakĂłw located in its area. It was created as a small quarters in the old Jewish cemetery at ul. Jerozolimskie, in the present suburb of XIII PodgĂłrze, in the southern part of Krakow. It was designed by Hans Mayr, the designer of this district. 19 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Mosaic faith were buried there. Currently, it is difficult to determine the exact location and appearance of the cemetery, because the matzevot destroyed Germany in 1942, just like in the entire old Jewish piedmont cemetery and set up a concentration camp on it.
