War Cemetery No. 48 - Regetów Wyżny - cemetery from World War I, located in Regietów in the Uście Gorlickie commune, designed by Dušan Jurkovič. One of over 400 Western-Galician war cemeteries built by the Cemetery Graves Division of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow. It belongs to the 2nd District of Jasło Cemetery. Description
The cemetery is located on the north-eastern slope of the Jaworzynka hill. On the rectangular plan with indented corners with an area of 418 m. The main architectural assumption of the cemetery is a stone monument in the shape of a tripartite wall covered with a shingled roof with a ledge above a wooden Latin cross. On the plaque on the monument wall there is an inscription: "Praise the Lord! With the bricks of our bodies, which seemed so small, he built a monument of victory and glory to his homeland" Oktawian Duda, World War I Cemeteries in Western Galicia 1914-1918 - Studies and materials, Center for the Protection of Historic Landscape, Warsaw 1995, pp. 117, 118 . In the cemetery in 4 mass graves and 7 individual graves, 210 soldiers were buried: * 136 Russian * 74 Austro-Hungarian soldiers killed in November 1914 and in the end of March - May 1915 .
