War Cemetery No. 84 - Bednarka - a cemetery from World War I located in the village of Bednarka in the Gorlice poviat, in the Lipinki commune, designed by Hans Mayr. Description
The object is located in the village cemetery as a separate plot, located in its highest part. The rectangular plan covers an area of about 122 m, surrounded by a fence of concrete pillars connected by double gas pipes. The cemetery was renovated in the inter-war period, when it was given its present appearance and in the post-war period. Tombstones with original enamel plates and names of buried parts have survived. The high wooden central cross has not been preserved Oktawian Duda, Cemeteries of the First World War in Western Galicia 1914-1918 - Studies and materials, Center for the Protection of the Historic Landscape, Warsaw 1995, pp. 161,162 . 27 soldiers in 7 mass graves and 4 individual graves who died in May 1915 were buried in the cemetery : * 14 Russians * 13 Germans among others from 46 Prussian PP, 22 reserve Prussian PP, 3 Bavarian Infantry Regiment.
