War Cemetery No. 93 - Stróşówka - cemetery from World War I, designed by Hans Mayr, located in the village of Stróşówka in the Gorlice poviat, in the Gorlice commune. One of over 400 Western-Galician war cemeteries built by the Cemetery Graves Division of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow. The cemetery is located on a side road to the west of the road No. 977. It is surrounded entirely by a brick stone fence. It has the shape of a rectangle with an area of about 153 m. In the front part there is an arched vault with preserved original cross. In the rear part of the fence there is an elevation, and on it a wooden cross, characteristic of Mayra. 14 cast-iron crosses were placed in the back part. There are 98 Russian soldiers buried in the cemetery in eight mass graves and 11 individual soldiers who died in May 1915: * 9 Russians * 37 Austrians, among others from 56 IR, * 10 Germans among others from 272 and 270 reserve Infantry Regiment [source: Wikipedia, 2149676]
