Jewish cemetery in ChrzanĂłw - was founded probably in 1763 and covers an area of 1.6 ha, on which about 1500 matzevot have been preserved, the oldest of which dates back to 1802. There are also two ohels in the Jewish cemetery, one of which hides the remains of the tzadiks from the Halberstam family and the second is the place of an eternal rest of the local tzaddik Salomon Buchner (died in 1828). The cemetery is located at ul. Borowcowej. Apart from the fence, directly behind the cemetery there are also unmarked collective graves of the War Cemetery No. 445 from the period of World War I. His fence and monument have not survived to this day. [source: Wikipedia, 1453093]
