Jewish cemetery in Krzepicach - kirkut, which was founded in the first half of the 18th century and covers an area of 1.4 hectares. 640 gravestones have survived to our times, the oldest of which dates back to 1749. The cemetery is one of the largest assemblages of cast-iron matzevot in Europe - there are about four hundred of them, most of it dating from the mid-nineteenth century. In 2000 it was rearranged and renovated as part of Antischematic shares by Polish and Israeli youth. [source: Wikipedia, 1399089]
