Jewish cemetery in Wilamowice - was established in 1891 as a burial place for Jews from nearby SkoczĂłw. The oldest preserved tombstone comes from the year of founding the necropolis and hides the remains of Perel Zabarski. The cemetery has an area of 1 ha and about 20 tombstones have been preserved. During the Second World War, it was devastated by the Nazis and gravestones were delivered to the Jeikner company (before the war belonging to the SkoczĂłw Jewish family Szancer), where they were until the end of the war. After its completion some of the tombstones returned to their place moved by relatives buried in the Jewish cemetery. The remaining matzevot found their way to the cemetery in the autumn of 1958 thanks to the intervention of Leopold Rozenthal. After the last Jews left SkoczĂłw, the necropolis began to fall into disrepair, and the city authorities began to consider its liquidation. The pre-burial house was pulled down. The cemetery was tidied up in 1996, grouping the remaining tombstones in a double circle around the monument commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. In the cemetery there is a natural monument established in 1995 - an avenue of twelve hundred and fifty-year-old limes with a height of 25 m and circumferences from 165 to 300 cm.
