History
The cemetery was founded in the second half of Nineteenth century, initially as a Uniate. On its site several tombstones were preserved. Nineteenth century and early twentieth century . One of them is a brick and plastered monument crowned with an iron cross placed on a crescent, with four plaques on the plinth, closed with arches in the form of a donkey's back. The inscription on the monument is illegible, it may be the date 1869 . From 1885, the gravestone of a minor Klavdiya Perfecka, daughter of the local parish priest, Julian Perfecki, comes from a cross-shaped bra surrounded by vines. . The cemetery was dedicated in 1881, together with the renovated parish church, by Archimandrite Narcyza, the superior of the monastery of St. Onufry's in Jabłeczna. Within the cemetery there is also a monument removed in Action Wisła, erected in 1997. The necropolis is partly surrounded by a historic wall made of field stones, in 1990 partly replaced by a new fence . [source: Wikipedia, 3310934]
