War Cemetery No. 32 - Szerzyny - cemetery from World War I, designed by Johann Jagera located near the village of Szerzyny in the TarnĂłw poviat, in the Szerzyny commune. One of over 400 Western-Galician war cemeteries built by the Cemetery Graves Division of the C. and K. Military Commanders in Krakow. The facility is located on the road to Swoszowa. It covers an area of approximately 447 m, surrounded by a stone wall. At the cemetery there were originally buried 134 soldiers buried in 7 mass graves and 30 individuals killed in December 1914 and May 1915: * 117 Russians from units: 101 Permian Infantry Regiment, 105 Orenburg Infantry Regiment, 121 Penzens Infantry Regiment, 127 Putivets Infantry Regiment , 124 Woroneski Infantry Regiment * 17 Austrians, among others z: 57 IR, 18 LIR, 19 LIR, 33 Infantry Regiment kk Landwehrry On the line of the cemetery's back fence there is a stone monument in the form of a cross with a height of 5.5 m, on which there is an inscription in German: "Offer us a minute of prayer, For you we have given years of our lives "(transl.).
