War Cemetery No. 42 - Sieklówka - an Austrian cemetery from World War I, designed by Johann Jäger, located in the Kołaczyce commune in the village of Sieklówka. A total of 32 soldiers killed on December 20-28, 1914 are buried in the cemetery: * 19 Austrians, ** incl. with IR 17, IR 27, IR 87 * 13 Russians and * 2 Germans (killed on May 8, 1915). The object is preserved in very good condition. It has the shape of a rectangle. The cemetery was reconstructed. New crosses were put in line with the original. The crosses have a unique character, they are made of two wood-carved swords. At the cemetery there is also a stone monument topped with a wooden cross. The cemetery is the object of the East Front World War Trail in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. [source: Wikipedia, 1674044]
