War Cemetery from World War II in Banachach - a historic military cemetery of soldiers who died during World War II, located in Banachach in the Harasiuki commune (poviat of Lower Silesia) . The cemetery is located outside the village in the forest near the road from Banach to Huta Krzeszowska. The cemetery has the shape of a rectangle surrounded by a metal fence, it consists of three rows of 10 graves. Concrete graves bear the following inscriptions: An unknown soldier, he died in the field of glory. In the center there is a stone monument with an inscription informing you that Polish soldiers who died in September 1939 were buried in the cemetery: Ojczyzno moja kiedy ciebie mozrzyć / Nie żal mi cierpieć nie żal i umierać / Inż. Walery Bigay-Mianowski / ppor. 12 PP born 1908r / ppor. Jan Bochenek / Augustyn Cholewa / Józef Ligęza / and 25 unknown / killed by soldier's death on September 14, 1939 / In honor of the heroes this monument was founded by the wife of Valery Bigay-Mianowski . On the second monument there is an inscription: Kawalerorderu Virtuti Militari / Stanisław Weiss / Mgr praw ppor rez. 73 PP Armii Kraków / Ur. 10.V. 1910r / died on November 16, 1939 / .JD .
