History and description

The cemetery was founded in 1919 together with the erection of the local Catholic parish D. Kawałko, Cemeteries ..., p. 29 . The oldest existing tombstones come from 1925. The necropolis is still open . Objects of the pre-war sepulchral art of the necropolis are Latin crosses on pedestals, pedestals with extensions and stellas, stucco figural gravestones and columns with niches for Christmas . Among the building blocks of contemporary tombstones, terrazzo, concrete and stone dominate . The cemetery is distinguished by the grave of the inhabitants of the village of Biszcza, murdered in January and July 1943, the grave of the courier AK Antoni Kurowski, pseudonym "Bunny" and the grave of Professor KUL Franciszek Mazurek.
