Jewish cemetery in Grodzisk Mazowiecki - was founded in the second half of the 18th century. For a time he also served Jews living in Warsaw. It was devastated during the First and Second World Wars and during the communist period, but nevertheless, about two hundred tombstones or their fragments have survived to our times. They are made mostly of sandstone and contain inscriptions in Hebrew (although there are preserved single steles with inscriptions in Polish and one of the epitaph in Aramaic). The cemetery has an area of 0.32 ha. It is fenced in with a net and the remains of the gate are preserved. [source: Wikipedia, 1469232]
