Kule Cemetery in Częstochowa - a necropolis located on a small hill, north of the center of Częstochowa. Located near the suburb of the Kule settlement in 1882, after the transfer of the cemetery from the area of Fabryczna (now Mielczarski) and Ogrodowa Streets. The first burials were made two years later. To this day, about one thousand tombstones from before 1939 have survived, including one hundred from the end of the 19th century. Among them there are two family burial chapels: Kuczyński, Szaniawscy and Nowiński, as well as several dozen historic graves, including Władysław Biegański. In the cemetery there is a neo-Gothic chapel dedicated to Resurrection in the mystery of Emmaus erected in 1898. In the 1960s, it was rebuilt. In the separate south-eastern part there is an Orthodox quarters, where are buried, among others t official and military officials. In the interwar period graves were moved here from the liquidated Orthodox cemeteries, at ul. St. Rocha and the cemetery at the church of Saints Cyril and Methodius.
