The fate of the cemetery
After World War II, the cemeteries of the First World War were not cared for, they were naturally destroyed and overgrown with vegetation. There were also acts of vandalism [ . It was only from the 90s that they were renewed. Only the overturned tombstones with crosses are preserved at the cemetery no. 154 from the original cemetery. The cemetery underwent general renovation. The currently cut and renovated elm hedge is now the only fence of this cemetery. The wooden cross and the gate were made anew, like the original ones. The steles and crosses were repositioned and painted, new enamel plates were made and the area was planted ][ . Entrance to the cemetery leads through a gap in the hedge shaped in the form of a gate (the gate does not open). [source: Wikipedia, 2776953]]
