History

Communal Cemetery no. 3 was put into use in 1978 due to the depletion of free burial places on the existing municipal cemeteries located in Kielce. It was located to the west of the village of Cedzyna (now in the Kielce poviat, in the commune of GĂłrno). Its area was many times enlarged, in 1992 it occupied an area of 20 ha, in 2016 the Kielce local government purchased 6.6 ha, which were prepared for 3,600 new burial places, and a columbarium was also established.
