Muslim cemetery in Bohoniki - cemetery founded in the 18th century. It covers an area of 2 ha and is the largest existing mizar in Poland. On October 22, 2012, the order of the President of the Republic of Poland, mizar, was recognized as a monument to the history of Poland Ordinance of the President of the Republic of Poland of October 22, 2012 () . Position
The oldest preserved tombstone with a legible inscription comes from 1786. In addition to it, about thirty tombstones from the second half of the nineteenth century and the oldest graves with two tombstones preserved: one at the deceased's feet and the other over his head (the inscriptions on them are illegible). Modern tassels differ from those in Christian cemeteries only with religious symbols of Islam placed on them. All graves are facing east. The graves are facing the right side towards Mecca (in this case to the south), because it is believed that the soul leaves the body on the right. Entrance to the mizar is a gate with inscriptions in three languages: Arabic, Belarusian and Polish. The cemetery has a surface area of 2 ha. [source: Wikipedia, 1460258]
