War Cemetery from World War II in Gorlice - a war cemetery of soldiers who died during World War II, located in Gorlice in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The cemetery was located in the fenced area of Rafineria Nafty Glimar SA in Gorlice and access to this facility was only after obtaining a pass. At present, the cemetery has been separated outside the refinery fence and entering the cemetery area does not require consent and a pass. Entrance to the cemetery is possible from Wincentego Pola street. There are 86 single and 19 collective graves on the cemetery. 161 Russian soldiers and 210 Poles, partisans and soldiers killed in September 1939 were buried here. On the main monument there is an incomplete list of names of buried soldiers. In the central part of the cemetery there is a stone monument made according to the design of Janusz Krause. On the monument there is a plaque with the inscription: On the 50th anniversary of September 1939, the fallen soldiers of the Polish army in homage to the society of Gorlice.
