240px Catholic cemetery at Ogrodowa street in Łódź - part of the Old Cemetery in Łódź. It was founded - just like the other two - in 1855. The oldest preserved tombstone comes from 1857 and hides the remains of Wojciech Gozdowski - it is also the oldest grave of the whole three-church necropolis. Attention is drawn to the graves of the participants of the battles for the Independence of Poland and the tombstones made by sandstone made by Wacław Konopka, and above all the impressive chapel of the Heinzl family. The cemetery covers an area of 11 hectares. [source: Wikipedia, 1347901]
